A feature of the CARBOROBOT Farmer boiler is the large fuel container mounted on top, that is filled manually.. With the appropriate fuel, the boiler may operate autonomously even up to few day. The cinder is removed manually at the same time as filling the fuel container. The boiler does not need attention while there is fuel in the container because built in sensors control the autonomous operation. CARBOROBOT Farmer is a real multifuel model typically designed for use in country areas. They are suitable for burning bio fuels, such as pellets of straw, grass (agri-pellet) as well in fuel mix as corn, wheat and many others. The mixtures thereof are the essential fuel for the boiler. This boilers have separate gasification burning chamber to burn wood and other solid chunky materials. The burning process in the boiler occur in impulse mode. The firewood burn with high speed and high power. This impulse mode allow burn wood wery clean. The heat will be shepherd to buffer accumulator. The BIO Farmer versions have an agitator built into the fuel container to ensure the smooth flow of the various materials. According to fuel categories,the Farmer boilers are available in biomass and coal versions. According to operation modes, there are hot water(3bar 95°C). With separate hot exchanger it also provides domestic hot water.

Biomass boilers -- BIO Farmer version can operate with biomass multifuel mode. The fuel container filled and the cinder is removed manually.

Coal boliers -- Farmer for coal work only with coal and wood logs.

The boiler operates in a switched-mode fashion, i.e. it is either on or off. This is controlled by the room, or the water thermostat. When the required temperature is reached, the fan stops and the output power is rapidly reduced to 3-5% of the nominal value. The fire does not go out even with several hours of waiting, hence there is no need for a re-ignition unit. When the boiler switches back on, the full power is reached within a few minutes.
A standard chimney is adequate for these boilers. Try to avoid using oversized chimneys as this might cause too high power in standby mode, i.e. when the fan is off. Should this still occur, it is possible retrofit a draft regulator which reduces the flue size. Different programs and control requirements can be implemented with an extra unit.

The quoted pellet or coal consumption per hour values refer to continuous operation. When heat output is not required and the boiler stops, the fuel consumption becomes negligible. The fuel consumption is essentially determined by the required energy output. Experience shows, that approximately 2kg coal or pellets correspond to 1 m3 of natural gas energy. In our climate, an avarage heating season lasts about 1000 hours in a typical building; this can be used to estimate the required fuel quantity.

The installation has to be carried out following the relevant technical and local regulations. In closed heating systems a safety walve max.3bar is necessary. We recommend to use buffer accumulator . The boiler can be used with all kind of pipework, water pumps or heat exchanger. In order to avoid corrosion, keep the return water temperature high, it should be typically 60-70°C. Use a mixing valve to ensure this.
